SATToSE is the Seminar Series on Advanced Techniques & Tools for Software Evolution.

Its 4th edition takes place in Koblenz on 6-9 Apr 2011.

You are advised to arrive Wednesday afternoon or evening (6 Apr).

The technical sessions are on 7-8 Apr all day.

You are advised to plan for departure during Saturday (9 Apr).

Registration

If you want to participate, please fill in the registration form.
Registration deadline is March 16.
You will receive payment instructions after submitting the registration form.
The registration fee — 125 euro — covers meals and social events.
Participants are supposed to book hotel rooms by themselves; see below.

The old city center starts across the street.

Please make your own reservation:

  • Price for single room per day: 50.50 Euro
  • Extra price for optional breakfast per day: 9,50 Euro
  • Mention "SATTOSE/Uni Koblenz" when you do the reservation.

The block reservation for SATToSE for this hotel expired per 25 Feb 2011, but rooms could be still available.

Presentations

Please send your presentation proposals to ed.znelbok-inu|gnaltfos#ed.znelbok-inu|gnaltfos.
Short presentations are appreciated the most.
Thereby, ample time should be left for discussions and group work.
The precise schedule will be determined in real time at the meeting.

  • 6th April (Wednesday): Reception dinner at the wine house Schwaab
    • Meeting point: Kurfürst Balduin hotel
    • Meeting time: 6:30pm
    • We will take the bus together.
    • If you are late, take a cab.
  • 7th April (Thursday): Workshop dinner at the restaurant Alexander´s Brasserie
    • Joint departure at workshop venue
  • 8th April (Friday): Guided tour in the Koblenz old center
    • Joint departure at workshop venue
    • Meeting point: Kurfürst Balduin hotel
    • Meeting time: 17:30pm
    • We will walk to the nearby Jesuitenplatz together.

After the Friday event, participants are advised to go on a pub and restaurant tour in groups and pay from their own wallet.

Bus info

General:
- We will provide you a ticket that allows to travel with buses during your stay in Koblenz.
- In the bus don't forget to press STOP button before the stop you need.

To Uni:
Buses No. 3, 20, or 355 — their stops towards Uni are across Löhr-Center, on the other side of the street —
LohrCenter_buses.jpg — please, note, that due to the construction works, stops N and M are shifted along the street. You need to get off at the stop "Winniger straße", which is right after the bridge over the Moselle river. You will have to cross a road then and in a few meters you will see University campus. See blue placemark and blue route on the picture below.

To the Löhr-Center you can take bus No.20 (pink placemark in the middle of the picture above) or buses No.3, 355 (pink placemark at the bottom of the picture above).
